Meet Kimlayn
Artist. Designer.
Cultural Curator.
Jamaican-born and Miami-based, Kimlayn is a multidisciplinary artist and the founder of Kimlayn | Cultured Art + Design Studio. Her work is rooted in travel, cultural memory, and the stories that only lived experience can produce. She moves fluidly between original oil paintings, handmade accessories, curated vintage fashion, and teen wellness through journaling. Not because she couldn't choose one lane, but because the intersection of all of them is exactly where she creates.
Kimlayn's creative path has led to exhibitions at ArtServe, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, RAW Artists in Miami and Los Angeles, and a collaborative mural installation at Miami Dade College. She has designed custom accessories and hand-painted garments featured in fashion shows, and has styled and created for several respected music artists. Her artwork is part of private collections across the United States and Europe.
With a background in fashion design and years of global travel shaping her eye, Kimlayn brings both intuition and intention to every project. Through her studio she leads four distinct but deeply connected expressions: original fine art, wearable handmade craft under the ADASSA 1930 label, globally sourced fashion through Little Green Closet, and teen wellness journals through The Golden Notes Project.
Her work is not inspired by the world. It is educated by it.
